Lindsay not only has personal experience in the trenches of addiction and recovery from it, but she has also completed the substance use disorder-counseling program at Utah Valley University in 2012. She has years of personal and professional experience with recovering from this seemingly hopeless state of mind and body and has served within the 12 step and LDS communities advocating for addicts who needlessly suffer and who haven’t yet found a solution.
Lindsay’s evidenced based approach is one of love and passion and believes finding one’s purpose is the ultimate catalyst for change. She utilizes motivational interviewing and empowers clients to recognize the worth and power within them so that they might make choices with confidence and move forward in a life of freedom and integrity. Lindsay loves the still suffering addict and devotes her time, energy and talents to helping in this great work where she can. She has two children whom she loves dearly, they are her pride and joy and what motivates her to continue on in her own life. Lindsay loves hiking, mountain biking and being active and outdoors.
