  • 365 days ago I finally admitted I was powerless over drugs and alcohol and that I had a problem. I checked myself into The Phoenix Recovery Center. There are so many things I want to say but can’t put into words to Marc Turner, Jake Shoff, Alema Harrington, Wendy Lyons, Lauren Jones, Brad Christensen, and countless others for the impact they have had on me. I know I couldn’t have done it without them and the support from my parents, family, and friends! Today I have a choice to live a happy life and I’m able to suit up and show up for others. I can’t begin to tell you the things that I have been blessed with through this journey. I’m full of gratitude today and love giving back what was so freely given to me! Thank u to everyone who has been there for me. My life is by no means perfect but is a heck of a lot better than it used to be. Thanks Phoenix!

  • My daughter recently spent 30 days at The Phoenix Recovery Center. It was the best thing she ever did! She is happy, confident and ready for her new life. She reports to me that she made life long friends with both the staff and residents! She now has tools to work through the struggles she has had. Working with the staff was great, they kept me posted on her progress and were so great to work with. I am a advocate for The Phoenix! Its an amazing program! I was extremely impressed it had such a comfortable atmosphere. I am truly grateful for the way my daughter has grown. I would recommend any one who feels their loved one is struggling with an addiction to contact The Phoenix. I found them so helpful to do what ever it took to get my daughter the help she needed. I am forever grateful to Jake & his staff. The Phoenix is an amazing place!

  • I am forever grateful for the entire staff of The Phoenix Recovery Center. It is extremely difficult to summarize the gratitude I feel within but I will try the best I can at this time. There were so many moments, I prefer to use the word miracles, before and during my son ‘s admission which would not have happened without the coaching and advice given to me from Jake, as the parent, to assist me to help lead my son Robert to recovery. When the family visited 3 weeks into his stay, I will say those 4 hours will forever be embedded in my being. To witness my son share what he was learning and the happiness he was experiencing with his progress in recovery could not have happened without the caring Professionals at The Phoenix. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  • Addiction, a state of mind. A place we all go, to escape the fears of life, wether it be drugs, alcohol, work, exercise, TV, religion.. The list could include almost anything. Whatever we can do to NOT look at ourselves. Turning and looking into the mirror, and understanding your own mind is the hardest journey one can take. I was fourtunate enough to have such a journey put in my lifes path. My family saw a need for me to get help for my external problems. Those created by addiction, what the world can see on the outside is a scream for help, on the inside. Going thru rehab at the The Phoenix Recovery Center, and the willingness to look in the mirror. I saw addiction in my family, maternal and adopted. I realized this is a journey I had to take. Now i know its a journey I get to take. Knowing who I am, being able to step thru to the other side, and walk with awareness. A clear mind and a clear consience, is the gift that I received going to the The Phoenix. I will be forever grateful for this education, for God, and for my family that saw a need, and didn’t give up on me. Dont ever give up on your loved ones. “When another person makes you suffer, it is because he suffers deeply within himself, and his suffering is spilling over. He does not need punishment; he needs help. That’s the message he is sending.”- Thich Nhat Hanh.

  • As the parent of someone who just completed the program at The Phoenix Recovery Center, I have a deep gratitude for how they helped my daughter. Her life was almost completely destroyed 4 months ago and she was on track to die shortly if she didn’t get help. The great staff and program here took her in and helped her change her life around. She told me a few days ago, ‘I feel so good. I thought I could never feel like this again.’ If you have a struggling child I can tell you from personal experience that the Phoenix is a great place for them to get their life back.
